Fall Fun on the Alpaca Farm

Drive out to the Sopris Alpaca Farm for some FREE fall fun! Hand-feed the alpaca, take pictures, and watch the crias (baby alpacas!) play. Don’t forget to do some early Christmas shopping in their rustic alpaca boutique, loaded with products from their luxurious fiber.

Snowmass Opening Day

Oh, the weather outside is DELIGHTFUL!
That’s right, opening day for the 2021/2022 season starts early this year at Snowmass on November 25, 2021, and runs through April 17, 2022! Then, freeskiers and snowboarders can get Thanksgiving started on the right ski by rolling down Snowmass’s unique course of urban-inspired features.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Element 47

Looking for something to do this Thanksgiving? Don’t feel like cooking (we don’t blame you)? Then you’ll enjoy a three-course dinner with festive favorites and gourmet twists on traditional Thanksgiving flavors at Element 47.
This event runs from 3–9pm. Tickets are $150 per guest, with a $100 wine pairing option. Children’s plates are $50.

Join Festive-Goers at Ajax Tavern

For a Thanksgiving option a bit more friendly on the wallet, check out Ajax Tavern’s plat du jour Thanksgiving favorites with roasted, organic turkey and all the trimmings, complete with a pecan pie.
This event costs $55 per guest, and runs from 5–9pm.

Basalt Regional Library Grab & Go Activities for Kids and Teens

Take part in one of the different crafts or activities offered by the Basalt Regional Library and The Art Base each week! You can scale each of these activities up or down to suit your crafter’s grade level, making them the perfect hands-on project for kids and teens. Grab an activity kit from the library’s main entrance on Saturday at 10 AM, while supplies last.

Steely Dead at Belly Up Aspen

Belly Up Aspen steps up its game on November 12th, by bringing musical hybrid Steely Dead (Grateful Dead and Steely Dan). Steely Dan’s structure, arrangements, and precision studio recordings mix with the Grateful Dead’s free-flowing, melodic improvisation and masterful song transitions for a powerful sonic convergence.
All guests must have proof of vaccination 14 days prior to the event date. Tickets cost $25, or $40 for reserved seating. Buy yours here.
