How to find the right buyer's Agent
When you’re buying a home for sale in Aspen or any of the surrounding communities, it’s in your best interest to work with a buyer’s agent.
But how do you find the right buyer’s agent for your needs?
Here’s what you need to know.

How to Find the Right Buyer’s Agent

You don’t necessarily want to hire the first buyer’s agent you meet. In fact, you should ask any buyer’s agent you meet several questions. These will get you started:

  • What neighborhoods do you specialize in? The entire real estate industry is based on local expertise, which means you want to hire an agent who knows a lot about the neighborhoods you’re interested in.
  • Do you have time for me? While there’s nothing wrong with working with a part-time real estate agent, it’s often best to work with an agent who can devote all his or her energy to you as necessary.
  • How long have you been an agent? There’s nothing wrong with working with a new agent, but in many cases, it’s better to work with an agent who has at least a few years’ experience.
