Are Your Homebuying Expectations Realistic
When you’re house-hunting, you probably have a picture in your mind of your dream home. While that’s fine, you have to make sure that your expectations are realistic.
Here’s what you need to know.

Are Your Homebuying Expectations Realistic?

Everybody has a dream home, but unless you’re having a custom house built, there’s a good chance you’re not going to find exactly what you picture. In fact, there’s no such thing as a “perfect home” – and if you’re holding out for one that is, you’re probably going to be disappointed.
We’re not saying you have to settle for a home you don’t like. However, if you really want to buy a house, you have to embrace the fact that every home is going to have something in it that you don’t love.
You can find a home that meets almost all your expectations. Make a list of all the features and amenities you want, and then make another list that includes the features and amenities you absolutely need. Be willing to let go of some of the features you want in exchange for other features you need.
