About the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival
This is the 25th annual Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival, and it has evolved quite a bit over the past two-and-a-half decades. According to JAS, the Labor Day Experience is an “open air, dance oriented extravaganza of popular, R&B, rock, funk, blues, world, and soul music.”
Event organizers expect crowds of more than 10,000 each day during the Experience, which will be held at Snowmass Town Park.
Jazz Aspen president and CEO Jim Horowitz says that it’s going to be the biggest event in JAS history.
In addition to the music on the main stage each day, the event is hosting live music on two side stages during the day and during JAS After Dark performances after the main shows.
You’ll find an international mix of exotic food and drink throughout the festival, as well, which makes it a fantastic experience for everyone. Nightly “lawn parties” are scheduled, too, so you’ll have a blast whether you come for one day or all three.
