What Airports Are in the Aspen, Colorado area?
Aspen and the surrounding towns are home to three airports, the third busiest airport in the state being Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE), followed by Eagle County Airport (EGE) just an hour drive. Another quick car trip is Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) being an hour and a half and three hours to Denver International Airport (DIA). The three regional airports offer small airport experiences with easy access to gates and parking. The most important to pay attention to is the weather and conditions that affect traveling into Aspen. If you are short on time and want to make sure to get in, choose Eagle, Grand Junction or Denver with few weather delays and larger aircraft service.
