The 2020 Red Bull Homerun
The 2020 Red Bull Homerun is a downhill snowboarding and sprint skiing competition that starts at the top of Aspen Mountain. Skiers and snowboarders all start together in a wild race to the finish line.
The fastest skiers and boarders will take home a trophy, an Ikon Pass, and a prize pack from Red Bull – as well as local fame.
Here’s how it works: Skiers and snowboarders sprint for their gear, put it all on as quickly as possible, and hurtle down the marked course to finish at the bottom. People in the race get to study a map ahead of time – and then everyone crosses their fingers and hopes for the best.
The Details
This event takes place on April 11, 2020. The race kicks off at 9 a.m. sharp.
You have to be at least 18 years old to participate in the event. Each participant must pay a $25 registration fee.
Watch from the bottom of the mountain if you’re not participating – and have your camera ready. You’ll catch some amazing moves, righteous wipeouts, and tons of fun.
