Youth, Adult, and Senior Programs at the Carbondale, CO Rec Center

The Carbondale Recreation Department provides a wide range of programs for residents of all ages, from preschool children to seniors. There’s something for everyone at Carbondale Recreation Center.
Preschool activities include Motion Mondays, two weeks of pre-school swim lessons, Mommy or Daddy and Me on Thursdays, Parent-Tot Aquatics on Fridays and Pee Wee Sports.
Youth programs include Taekwondo, skateboard lessons, youth baseball and softball, youth swim lessons for kids aged six and up, North Face Bike Park lessons, youth climbing classes, and so much more.
Adults can stay in shape with water aerobics, a co-ed softball league and aqua Zumba. There are classes for adults to learn about gardening at the “Growing Vegetables from Arugula to Zucchini” five-week class series. You can learn how to play Pickleball or just stop in and watch a match, or sign up for one (or more) of dozens of activities designed just for people living in Carbondale.
Seniors can join the Silver Sneakers fitness program, participate in summertime fun with Senior Splash, and join the “Over the Hill” Hiking Group. Series of seasonal classes, shopping trips, and several other activities are also planned throughout the year.
